We can provide any number of Babysitters for your wedding, party or special event so your guests can let their hair down and relax knowing their children are being cared for by our childcarers professionals in a safe and secure environment.
The Parent & Child Nanny Agency offers the following Wedding and Event Babysitting Services:
★ Direct Hire Wedding and Event Babysitters
Each Babysitter is booked exclusively by families attending your wedding or event. Our Event Babysitting service is unique in that your dedicated Babysitter will arrive with a bag containing a selection of story books for some enjoyable bedtime reading time.
★ Babysitting Listening Service
This service is typically used where the entire venue has been booked and children are settled in to various rooms at a venue. Event Sitters will remain in the corridor’s and regularly check on sleeping children in their rooms.
★ Slumber Party Service
We will use any space provided to create a calm and tranquil environment with cushions, snuggle sacks, Popcorn and movies, reading books, star projectors and much more to ensure a relaxing environment is created for those that wish to sleep and low key activities are provided for those who just need some down time.

An Event Babysitter will provide childcare at a wedding, party or special event
An Event Babysitter will be provided with comprehensive information and guidelines regarding your event, any special requirements and dress code. Where applicable, the Event Babysitter will take the child/children to their room in order for the parents to enjoy a fully uninterrupted time at your wedding or event.
All our Event Babysitters are qualified or experienced childcarers with the majority being off-duty Nannies, Childminders, Nursery nurses, Teachers and Ofsted registered Childcare professionals.
All Event Babysitters are registered with The Parent & Child Nanny Agency and are met and interviewed by us, hold a DBS Enhanced Disclosure and have been thoroughly vetted, id verified and reference checked and have Paediatric First Aid training for complete peace of mind.
When booking a Slumber Party or Listening Service, a minimum of 2 Event Babysitters will be booked to cover any emergency situation.
For security reasons, children being cared for require one Event Babysitter per Room (unless internally adjoining).
As a guide and in relation to Ofsted’s minimum staffing ratio’s we work above the following recommended guidelines:
|0 – 2 years||1 Event Babysitter to every 3 children|
|2 – 3 years||1 Event Babysitter to every 4 children|
|3 – 5 years||1 Event Babysitter to every 6 children|
|5 – 8 years||1 Event Babysitter to every 8 children|
Higher ratios will be needed if any child requires additional support.
Direct Hire Wedding and Event Babysitters and Babysitting Listening Service
£40 administration fee is applicable per Event Babysitter
£10.00 – £12.00 per hour is payable directly to the Event Babysitter.
In some rural locations or where we are unable to provide a local Babysitter, a contribution towards travel costs is recommended. We will contact you to discuss if this is required.
All bookings are subject to a minimum 3 hour booking
Slumber Party Service
POA Starting from £250 for 2 hours
