A Doula is an experienced or trained birth partner who will offer you a birth package providing support and reassurance before, during and after the birth. A doula will have a good understanding of your wishes and will ensure your birth plan is met to the best of their ability.

A doula will charge a package fee which includes support and visit before and after the birth as well as being available for the actual birth (as and when this happens).
