Help towards childcare costs - Claim up to 80% towards your childcare costs via tax credits.

As a Parent, if you employ an Ofsted registered nanny you may be eligible to receive some financial contributions towards the cost of your childcare. The two types of financial support available:

1- Employer-supported childcare vouchers
2- Working tax credits.

The threshold to qualify for financial support towards childcare through working tax credits is £59,000 as a combined family income. However, families that use employer supported childcare vouchers can make a substantial saving in the form of tax relief. This is applicable to all parents regardless of income.

You must use registered childcare in order to qualify. An Ofsted registered nanny will have a registration certificate valid for 12 months and costs £103 per year. Registration is renewable annually and the cost includes the cost of an enhanced CRB disclosure. The Parent & Child Nanny Agency can provide a suitably qualified Ofsted registered nanny.
