WHAT IS A HOTEL NANNY AND HOTEL BABYSITTING SERVICE?
A hotel nanny and hotel babysitter will provide professional sole charge childcare on the premises of a hotel, b&b or stately home for your children whilst you enjoy a break, a meal out, a child-free day…

WHEN SHOULD I BOOK A HOTEL NANNY OR BABYSITTER?
Please book your hotel childcare as soon as you have confirmed your stay in order to guarantee availability.

WHAT IS THE MINIMUM BOOKING PERIOD FOR A HOTEL NANNY OR HOTEL BABYSITTER?
The minimum booking period is charged at 4 hours. If you book less than 4 hours you will still need to pay your nanny the minimum booking charge. If you wish to extend the hours to meet the requirements of the minimum booking charge, please liaise with your nanny prior to the booking date.

WHAT ARE THE COSTS?
The breakdown of costs are as follows:
The agency booking fee (£40) + the nanny’s hourly rate (£15)/(£20 bank holidays) + additional fuel contribution (vary depending on location).

WHAT IF I NEED TO CANCEL?
Simply complete our cancel booking form.
The agency booking fee is non-refundable but is transferable to a date in the same week of your stay subject to availability. One hour will be charged by your hotel nanny or babysitter if cancelled with less than 12 hours notice.
If your hotel nanny or hotel babysitter cancels the booking you will be provided with a replacement or, if no replacement is available, you will be refunded in full.

HOW DO I BOOK A HOTEL NANNY OR BABYSITTER?
Booking is simple, just complete our hotel nanny booking form or hotel babysitting booking form and we will guide you through the next steps.

IS MY HOTEL NANNY/BABYSITTER QUALIFIED AND EXPERIENCED?
All hotel nannies are qualified in childcare and teaching and/or highly experienced professionals who have been fully security and reference checked by the agency hold a DBS Enhanced Disclosure for complete peace of mind.

CAN I MEET MY HOTEL NANNY OR HOTEL BABYSITTER IN ADVANCE OF THE BOOKING?
Due to the high demand for hotel childcare, it is not possible to meet your hotel nanny in advance unless you have specific circumstances such as a child with additional needs or have an extended hotel stay booked. Advanced meetings will be charged (poa)

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A HOTEL NANNY AND A HOTEL BABYSITTER? 
You will receive the same quality of service and calibre of nanny regardless of which booking you make. Generally, a hotel nanny will care for your children during the day, often using the hotel facilities suitable for children, playing outside and in the hotel room. A hotel babysitter will offer evening childcare and can assist with the children’s supper supervision, reading bedtime stories and ensuring they are nestled in their beds until your return.

WHERE WILL MY HOTEL BABYSITTER SIT?
Your hotel babysitter can sit in the same room or an adjoining room, usually with a lamp of low light. If preferred, your babysitter can sit outside the hotel room in the corridor and check on your children regularly.

CAN WE SHARE A HOTEL NANNY OR HOTEL BABYSITTER?
Yes! providing the children are all located in one space. We need to adhere to our staffing ratio policy at all times to ensure complete safety so make sure you have listed all children and ages to be cared for on your booking form. If you add children at the start of the booking, the hotel nanny or hotel babysitter will refuse the booking.

HOW DO I ARRANGE WEDDING CHILDCARE AT A HOTEL?

I AM A GUEST ATTENDING A WEDDING AT A HOTEL, IS THE BOOKING PROCESS THE SAME?
In a nutshell yes!

I WOULD LIKE THE HOTEL NANNY TO TAKE MY CHILDREN OUT OF THE HOTEL GROUNDS  – IS THIS POSSIBLE?
Absolutely! our hotel nannies can take your children out to local attractions with your permission. Your booking is entirely bespoke so do let us know if you have any special requirements.

DOES MY HOTEL ALLOW HOTEL NANNY AND BABYSITTING SERVICES?
Most hotels allow hotels nannies and babysitters, just ask your hotel. If your hotel is unfamiliar with this sort of service, please ask them to contact us so we can provide further information.
