Job Description
The position required: Nanny
Location: Lympstone, Devon
Position start date: 27/04/2026 Flexible by a few months
Requirements: Permanent nanny, Live-out nanny
Duties: Nursery duties, Cooking meals, Trips and outings, Taking to play/toddler groups, taking to extra-curricular clubs, Driving children
Nanny responsibility: The nanny will have a mixture of sole and shared charge
Preferred nanny attributes: Childcare experience, DBS, Paediatric first aid training, Driver, Animal lover, Outdoorsy, Swimmer, Cooking skills
Nanny duties and expectations
I’d like flexible help with my three children.
Days and hours required
Days of work: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday
Monday: 8am to 6pm
Tuesday: 8am to 6pm
Wednesday: 8am to 6pm
Variation in hours: The hours remain the same all year round

Further details about child 1: Nursery – wed Thurs Fri. She is an energetic and fun little girl; she loves the outdoors and enjoys playing at the park or beach and walking the dog. She’s a great communicator and has a good sense of humour, she also loves books and reading.

Further details: She is a very cuddly little girl, her favourite thing is to sit on your lap and be read a story. She loves dollies and her language is excellent for her age, she’s potty trained and generally very independent at home. The girls are great friends.

Further details: She arrived a few weeks ago and is settling in well. She’s breastfed / and so far a good feeder and sleeper

Parenting style: I like to encourage independence and curiosity, I ask my children to help with household chores – clearing up after meals, tidying their rooms etc and we work as a team. I try to keep the home a fun and safe environment and love being with my kids. I’m just juggling a bit much with them all so little and would like an extra pair of hands to enable me more time with each child.
