Before and after school

Essential before and after-school childcare allows you to work a full day without thinking about how to get your children to and from school. This option can extend to full-time childcare during the school holidays with an annualised contract created to meet your bespoke requirement.
£18 – £20 ph

School holiday childcare

One-to-one childcare ensuring your children have a great time during the school holidays when you have to work. Childcare can be contracted with one nanny, or you can simply book ad-hoc childcare with a different nanny each time on a temporary as-and-when needed basis.
£16 – £18 ph

Weekend childcare

Regular or occasional weekend childcare for when you need an extra pair of hands. Childcare can be contracted with one nanny, or you can simply book ad-hoc childcare with a different nanny each time on a temporary as-and-when-needed basis.

All Nannies registered with The Parent & Child Nanny Agency are interviewed, hold a DBS Enhanced Disclosure, have been thoroughly vetted, ID verified and reference checked and have Paediatric First Aid training for complete peace of mind.

Wrap-around nannies that work two parts of the day (i.e. before and after school charge an hourly rate of £18-£20 per hour. The rate is based on the flexibility required, the need for the nanny to go home and return in the middle part of the day and the restriction a nanny has to find additional work to fit into the gap in the day.

Wrap-around nannies that work one shift from start to finish charge £16 – £18 per hour. This may include before and after-school nannies that take on housekeeping duties during the day when children are at school.

The agency fee will be for a permanent placement fee or a temporary nanny fee depending on your preference.

Yes, the majority of our nannies are Ofsted registered which means they are happy to accept childcare vouchers as a form of payment.

For a regular nanny introduction please complete our PARENT REGISTRATION FORM. Once your information has been processed, we will advertise your requirement to our registered nannies as well as on various other platforms to gather further interest.

Book a temporary nanny

Yes, we can provide a nanny with complete flexibility. The nanny will usually be paid an annualised salary based on the varying hours required and this would usually be an enhanced rate if you need complete flexibility.

An example of an annualised commitment:
Parent works 40 hours pw for 30 weeks of the year and 15 hours per week for 22 weeks of the year = Nanny is paid for 29.42 annualised hours per week.

Alternatively, a nanny could be paid for what they work but they may require a retainer or an agreed minimum number of hours to maintain commitment.

You might also like to consider a temporary nanny. We can provide childcare for each period required. In some cases, it is possible to work with a group of nannies providing temporary childcare to maintain continuity.
