About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and experienced cleaner/housekeeper to work in a large farmhouse. 

The role offers flexible working hours.

Key Responsibilities

• General household cleaning (household of 6 of us – 4 children: one is at university (21), two teenagers (15 & 17) & one 9 year old) 
• Laundry, changing bed linen and ironing
• Managing cleaning tasks across a large property 
• Prioritising work effectively, recognising that not all tasks are required every week
• Carrying out weekly, fortnightly, and ad hoc tasks as required
• additional duties, receiving and unloading shopping deliveries, occasional assisting with cleaning other rental properties for additional hours work and possible occasional assistance with driving children to and from activities/school for additional hours work as well as putting together simple meals for the children and us on some days  (to be discussed)

Skills and Experience

• Driving licence as car required to drive to Dunchideock Barton 
• Previous experience in cleaning and housekeeping (private household experience preferred)
• Strong time management and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks
• Reliable, trustworthy, and detail-oriented

Personal Qualities

• Local to the area
• Flexible and adaptable approach to work

Days and hours required
Days of work: Monday and Friday (these are the preferred days, however the family are flexible to change to alternate days if this suits someone better.
Monday: 9.30-1.30 (housekeeping work)
Friday: 9.30-12.30 (housekeeping work)
