The position required: Nanny/Housekeeper
Location: Exeter, Devon
Position start date: May/June 2026 Flexible start date
Requirements: Part-time nanny/housekeeper. This is a permanent role starting asap; however, the family would consider a short-term summer holiday nanny for 9 weeks from 3rd July – 8th September and a longer-term nanny commencing September 2026.
Duties: Cooking meals, Trips and outings, taking to extra-curricular clubs, Driving children, General tidying, Laundry and ironing, Light housekeeping
Nanny responsibility: The nanny will have sole charge
Preferred nanny attributes: Childcare qualifications, Childcare experience, DBS, Paediatric first aid training, Animal lover, Outdoorsy, Able to support studies/homework

Nanny duties and expectations
Ideally we are looking for someone one or two days a week for a predominantly house keeper/mothers help role. This would involve washing and ironing, cooking a meal for dinner on the day/days they are in and some childcare for our 8-year-old daughter and 12-year-old son during the school holidays. Our children often end up doing clubs and activities during the holidays so it might be a case of transporting them to these and on occasion, collecting them from school (although not often). We would also be looking for babysitting on occasions, if possible.

Days and hours required
Days of work: Any two days except Monday. The role could be just one day if preferred.
Hours: 10 am – 6 pm (flexible)
