Terms & Conditions for making an offer of employment

Terms & Conditions

Once you have found a candidate you wish to offer employment to, in accordance with HMRC WRITTEN STATEMENT OF EMPLOYMENT PARTICULARS please complete the form below.

It is essential you complete an accurate offer as the candidate will be considering the details specified within this offer and if accepted, may be declining other offers, so all information needs to be factual and accurate.

Please allow 5 working days for the candidate to make a decision about your offer of employment.

If an offer is accepted, the next steps are as follows:

  1. You will receive a formal introduction email
  2. You will receive a draft contract and employment information
  3. You will receive payroll information

If an offer is declined, the next steps are as follows:

  1. You have the opportunity to renegotiate terms of the offer such as pay
  2. You have the opportunity to make an offer to another candidate
  3. You have the opportunity to take no furthe raction and continue your search

If you withdraw an offer of employment the next steps are as follows:

  1. In accordance with The Parent & Child Nanny Agency terms and Conditions and Agency Fees, If your withdrawal of an offer of employment is due to a change of mind, or change of your circumstances, the agency will charge a fee. The minimum agency fee is £600. In this circumstance, trial days fees will be reimbursed from your final fee.
  2. If your withdrawal of an offer of employment is due to a a candidate’s change of mind/circumstances/request to withdraw their acceptance letter, no fees will be due to the agency. In this circumstance, trial days fees will be reimbursed.
  3. If your withdrawal of an offer of employment is due to a candidate becoming unsuitable, unhelpful or due to a breakdown in communication , the agency will commuinicate and mediate with both parties to see if the issues raised can be resolved. An agnecy fee to cover administration will de due if employment doesnt proceed.

An offer of employment is legally biding and is the foundation of your contract of employment. Please only make an offer of employment once you have met and interviewed a candidate in person and are happy with all the information provided by the agency, including:

  • References
  • Qualification details
  • Ofsted registration (if required)
  • Security checks
