The position required: Nanny/Housekeeper
Location: Torquay, Devon
Position start date: 05/01/2026 Flexible start date
Requirements: Permanent nanny, Full-time nanny, Live-out nanny
Duties: Nursery duties, Cooking meals, Taking to play/toddler groups, Driving children, General tidying, Laundry and ironing, Light housekeeping, Grocery shopping, Dog walking/pet care
Nanny responsibility: The nanny will have sole charge
Preferred nanny attributes: Childcare qualifications, Ofsted registration, Childcare experience, DBS, Paediatric first aid training, Driver, Animal lover, Bi-lingual, Non-smoker, Understanding of the EYFS

Nanny duties and expectations
Nanny house keeper for 3 children aged 3-year-old, 7.5 months old and 7.5 months old.

The girl attends nursery 4 days a week, from 9 am to 3 pm.
Boys starting nursery in November will attend 2 days per week and will build up to 4 days per week by January. 9am – 3pm.

Required hours – 10am – 6pm.

Housekeeping with cleaning/tidying/laundry/food shopping/cooking of evening meal for family/occasional dog walking. Picking up children from nursery at 3pm Monday – Thursday and caring for until 6pm (when mum and dad will finish work and have dinner with the children together and do the bath and bedtime routine each evening. Having children at home Friday to include age appropriate/developmental activities at home.

We have 2 friendly dogs and cat – the cats keep themselves to themselves.

We also go each year to France for 6 weeks in the summer and would love a nanny who can come with us for this (the cost of which we would of course cover).

We’d love to have a family feel with our nanny and have someone who can impart their years of wisdom. We are an easy going, fun household. Dad has his own business, and mum is about to return to work. We both work hard but are committed to spending quality time with our children so need a bit of help running the household and, in the afternoon, to help us do that for our kids. We are grateful parents who are blessed to have three little ones and would like a kind, caring, fun and compassionate nanny to help us bring up kind, caring, fun children.
