WHAT TO EXPECT ON THE DAY…
The Event Nannies
Please rest assured, the event nannies you have booked:
- Are personally interviewed by The Parent & Child Nanny Agency
- Are DBS, reference and id checked
- Hold personal nanny insurance
- Have completed our event nanny training manual
- Hold childcare qualifications or experience
- Hold a Paediatric First Aid certificate
On Arrival
On the day of your booking the event nanny/nannies will arrive 15 minutes prior to the booking start time in order to familiarise themselves with the venue, parking, location and fire procedures.
Our event nannies are self-employed so it is essential they are paid by you prior to the booking or at the start of the booking.
The event nannies will have photo identification, name badges and a recognisable apron uniform. All event nannies will have details of their DBS and insurance which can be checked on arrival.
Please remember to provide a child information form for each child being cared for so the event nannies are fully informed with every child’s needs and abilities on the day.
The Childcare Location
The event nannies will provide professional, safe childcare to children attending your wedding, if you are providing games and toys, please ensure you bring enough to keep children amused for the period of time booked. If you have booked any additional extra’s through us, we will be in touch to discuss how and when this will be set up.
The Wedding Plan
Please ensure you have a nominated a person of contact fr the event nanny/nannies on the day. This would usually be a close relative or a wedding planner who can assist with any issues the nannies might encounter or assist in finding parents who may be needed by their children. If the event nannies are required to move to various different locations please ensure an itinerary for the day is provided. You can find templates for your wedding plans on our resources page.
