How to Apply for a DBS Enhanced Disclosure

Cost: £89

The Parent & Child Nanny Agency requires you to undertake a DBS Enhanced Disclosure before working with children. If you already have an Enhanced DBS registered with the update service, which we can verify, we will not need to carry out a new DBS.

As part of the application process, you will need to undertake a digital identity verification check using our verified provider.

The application process as follows:

  1. Complete the AGENCY BOOKING FORM and payment for this service.

  2. You will be sent a link by our umbrella company to complete your DBS application form online.
    Your application starts with the digital identity verification application and, once complete, will proceed to the Enhanced DBS application automatically.

    You will need to have ready:
     – Address history for the past 5 years
     – Details of any name changes
     – National Insurance number
     – Identity documents (passport and or Driving license plus a utility bill, bank statement, cc statement or mortgage statement)
     – You will need a smartphone and need to install either the Yoti or Post Office app on the device.

  3. LIVE TRACKING of your DBS can be checked at any time.

  4. SUBSCRIBE TO THE UPDATE SERVICE
    Once you have received your completed DBS Enhanced Disclosure, you must subscribe to the update service. Subscription is time-sensitive (30 days) so we recommend doing this asap to avoid repeating the process and cost.

You can now subscribe to the update service for a cost of £16 per year. You will need to subscribe within 30 days of receiving your DBS Enhanced disclosure online HERE

It is an essential requirement that all nannies registered with The Parent & Child Nanny Agency hold an Enhanced DBS Disclosure registered with the update service.
